LAN Systems CEO Talks Security at Cyber Symposium

March 21, 2017 – LAN Systems CEO Mary Hester talked about computer safety and how employees can identify the most common threats at the 4th Annual Cyber Symposium. The event is sponsored by Tech400 as part of their mission to educate and guide business professionals through the changing landscape of technology.

“Technology is our first defense against the ever-growing onslaught of cyber threats,” said CEO Hester. “But technology alone cannot keep us safe. People have to be better at identifying and stopping scams. With a little training, the treats become obvious and the scammer stopped in their tracks.”

The panel discussion included industry leaders with strong backgrounds in cyber security. The symposium titled: Cybercrime Trends: How to protect your business and family gave real-world examples of how to be safer online in additional to illustrating the current threat landscape. As part of the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce, Tech400 is for technology-minded individuals who desire to stay informed regarding the ever-changing tech industry in Atlanta. With a focus on North Fulton where over 900 technology companies are located along the GA400 corridor, Tech400 makes an impact on business technology.
